The companion and skillsets you choose to lead the caravan is vital to its success. Caravans are investments in your people. They exist for reasons other than just making money (which they do at lower rates than workshops because theyre only limited by your clan size afaik) 200 is a good start.
Jul 18, 2021. #1. have 2 caravans neither one of them have gotten captured or anything. been 2 months in-game (60 days in-game) neither has made ANY money whatsoever. in previous playthroughs, it'd show the money when you hovered over the gold, it'd show income and expenses, but atm nothing.I’m only at lvl 90 atm but able to make weapons that are 3k each. Use the money to maintain a sustainable party/parties. Level up your troops. Do tournaments and missions like ‘caravan ambush’ or escort a caravan.
You can either join another Kingdom and become a vassal or start attacking things solo. Either way, if you want to make money, you will need someone to attack. When you finish a battle you can take prisoners. While the low tiered units are nearly worthless, a squad of T3+ units or even an enemy Lord can net you 1000s.
I used to never have issues with workshops before, but in 1.7.2 I noticed I was making only 40-50 denars profit per day. Then in 1.8 (I was forced to update because the new release somehow broke my 1.7.2 save even though I had no auto updates selected) I noticed I just wasn’t making anything.
Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord. Are Caravans Broken? (RESOLVED) Caravan was 15k. Almost all my money, on top of the extra 220 dollars I'm paying each day for the troops. It's been about 10 days now, 0 income from the caravan. I'm having to do everything I can to keep myself afloat right now, and it's complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t. What's the
If they catch you, they’ll throw you in a dungeon and demand a good chunk of your hard-earned money for release. That said, any time you defeat an enemy of your hired faction, you earn ~100–200 gold pieces. Bandits also count as enemies, so you can still make quick cash by decimating bands of looters as you travel.
Workshops seem very valuable if you're willing to invest tons of money into it. Currently, I have about 5 workshops (Sanala, Car Banseth, and Chaikand silversmiths, Pen Cannoc pottery, and Vostrum Brewery) making about 3k gold daily because I used the large influx of smithing money when starting my mercenary career to build monopolies for them. I guess maybe caravans are more useful earlier in the game. What's the most frustrating though is 9/10 times they're not even captured by enemy lords, just looters and bandits. [deleted] • 3 yr. ago. Smithing is the way to go my guy. Once your smithing is high enough, you make 100k javelins for 2 steel and 1 wood. .
