1 post · Joined 2018. #1 · Jun 19, 2018. Hi everyone, I've been having some stalling issues with my 2003 jaguar x-type 2.5L and I wanted to get some input on what the reason could be. My car will start and run fine for about 15 to 20 minutes or so and then all of a sudden it will shudder, the steering wheel will go stiff, and the engine will die.
Having read quite a bit of online advice I have had a go at replacing the washer pump on my 2005 S type 2.7 D. The tray under the radiator is off despite every screw being rusted solid ( another story). I can just see the pump wiring connector from below but it seems everything has to be done by "feel".This is the type which is inserted from above.
I have my 2003 X-Type 2.0 V6 with 240.000 Kms (150.000 miles) with no major problems. Last week I had to replace both catalyzators and front Lambda sensor (1.725 ) Car runs smoothly.
